Steve Iffie is Owner, President and CTO at POXXIBLE Inc. He has over 28 years of commercial experience in the design, development & delivery of highly responsive mission-critical front and back-end Enterprise & Cloud software, as well as Mobile Apps and Web Applications for Desktop, Tablet & Mobile devices. Steve began his career in IT as a self-taught Fortran and Small Talk programming language developer in 1990 and subsequently pursued a degree in Computer Science where he quickly mastered Cobol, C, and C++ programming languages. In 1995, he worked with the beta version of the Java programming language and became an Enterprise Java Software, Database, and Data Warehouse solutions provider. Since 1996, Steve has created and run several Tech companies that provided vital enterprise technology solutions to many companies including software houses, banks, and insurance companies across the UK and Europe.

In 2014, he started and led a SaaS and Tech Support LLC in the US which he self-funded and in 2020 culminated into the highly reputable and now successful US S-Corp, POXXIBLE Inc. His passion has always been in state-of-the-art technology platforms and his keen knowledge for almost three decades has given POXXIBLE Inc. an edge in AI technology over much bigger companies. His company’s Cloud-based application and outsourced Mobile App Consultancy and Application development service has quickly become an invaluable extension to many Governments and Enterprise On-prem and Cloud projects. Steve’s vision to embed an Air traffic control-like system in the company’s new global Virtual AI Mesh platform, for hosting AI-enabled applications, became a game changer in the industry in 2020. It has made this pioneer one of our best hopes for a secure and safer communication and inter-processing AI world.

Without a controlled way to play in the field, AI will hurt us sooner. With an agreed way to communicate and interact, AI can and should always be under our control. Aircraft across the world don’t crash or fall from the skies every day because air traffic control and pilots across the globe follow a set of agreed aviation rules for take-off, cruising and landing. Using a similar rule set, POXXIBLE’s Virtual AI Mesh is already able to detect, reject and stop any bad intent of an AI in a billion participating AI-enable bots under 10 nanoseconds. With such control in our hands, Autonomous self-driving vehicles will not recklessly crash, and that AI-enabled bread toaster should not burn down your house. To give back to newcomers and future leaders in the Tech Community, Steve has voluntarily served as a committee judge and chair for several Steve Awards and many other Tech Award bodies. With constructive comments that are designed to probe the mind, install innovative thinking, and guide contestants in the right direction technically, a Stevie Awards-winning mindset is just the beginning for the teachable. Steve is very humbled to be Chair of the Product and Services Committee in the 2025 Stevie Awards for Technology Excellence.
